I’m Rebecca Young and I started Puzzlewood after working for more than six years on the Corporate Relations team at fuel cell developer, Ballard Power Systems.  At Ballard, I worked on any and everything in corporate communication, from employee relations, investor relations, and executive speech writing, to where I ended up, responsible for public and media relations. I also represented Ballard on international industry association communication teams, and chaired the National Hydrogen Association’s Education & Outreach committee for two years.   

I have expertise in corporate communication and issues management; a
passion for good writing; a strong commitment to delivering excellent work
and making my clients look great; and an approach to working with people (from clients, suppliers, other consultants, and the person who makes my
tea-to-go every morning) based on the assumption we get more done if we
play nicely in the sandbox. 

Creativity is important to me, whether tackling a problem or a creating a final product.  And I have a sense of humour. When you work in communication, humour is sometimes what gets you through the day.
